Concord for construction is hiring a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join the Concord team. As a key member of Concord organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of projects from initiation to completion.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and oversee all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction to project closeout.
- Ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of construction professionals including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Implement and enforce stringent quality control measures and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and address any issues promptly.
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
- Approve and manage project expenditures, invoices, and change orders.
- Ensure projects are completed within financial targets.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve any project-related conflicts or issues that arise.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction activities.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 20 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant tools.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
