Concord for construction is hiring a  highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join the Concord team. As a key member of Concord organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of projects from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and oversee all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction to project closeout.
  • Ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of construction professionals including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Implement and enforce stringent quality control measures and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and address any issues promptly.
  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
  • Approve and manage project expenditures, invoices, and change orders.
  • Ensure projects are completed within financial targets.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve any project-related conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction activities.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 20 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant tools.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Financial acumen and budget management expertise.
