GREATER CAIRO METRO LINE 4
The Greater Cairo Metro Line 4 will be constructed in Two Phases and will run from Hadaek El Ashgar Station in West Cairo to New Cairo, up-to the south of the International Airport. The overall distance will be approximately 43km. Phase 1 will run for 13km underground tunnels from Center of Cairo to Giza pyramid complex in the southwest, serving a total of 12 stations.

The new route is expected to be heavily used by tourists, as it will also
serve the New Grand Egyptian Museum. It extends from Hadayek Al Ashgar to Al Mesaha.
